"I was disappointed we didn't have a runway,” said veteran forward Nick Collison. "I really worked on my runway walk. I'm kidding. I'm really impressed with the uniforms.”
Home white uniforms feature the word "Thunder.”
Road sky blue uniforms have "OKLAHOMA CITY” inscribed. Home uniforms are trimmed with orange, yellow and navy blue stripes.
"There's more orange than crimson,” said Desmond Mason, the former Oklahoma State star, referring to the Bedlam rivalry. "It's a great design. I think the fans will really like them.”
Said former Georgetown star Jeff Green: "It's really classic. I like the logo, everything. And they got some Hoya (navy) blue in there. That's all I care about.”
Coach P.J. Carlesimo said simple is better.
"The biggest mistake you can make with uniforms is going crazy with too much detail,” Carlesimo said. "(Owner) Clay (Bennett) talked about respecting the heritage of the NBA by keeping it clean and classy. They did a good job. I've been happy with the colors since Day 1.”

Firstly Oregon's unis are amazing, i don't think we are just finding something to complain about as much as you in the minority actually like these hideous uniforms. i believe this was poorly addressed and should of looked around the nba for more popular and clean look
And at that, I now join the growing list of people that have finally realized there is no point in responding to a person who doesn't even have the propriety to carry on a civilized or balanced conversation. Have fun Paul and enjoy your annoying little games.
My point was that if they have too much detail, it won't read well from the stands or on television (look at the uniforms the University of Oregon uniforms- they look like a mess at any distance). I should remember though, if they had been made more flashy, you would have had a problem with that. Regardless of the issue or situation, you will have a problem. The uniforms are fine and the only thing I can figure is that you get some sort of kick out of trying to get people upset. Hopefully not too many people take you seriously. I'm definately not letting what you think alter how I feel about where I live. Hopefully you can eventually move to a place "worthy" of someone like yourself.
"it's more important that they read well from a distance."...Why?? Do you think people will forget who the team is? I'm pretty sure that when the "team" rolls into a REAL big league city, they'll know who it is they're playing....
I think the home uniforms are fine. The road jerseys are so so. I would have preferred it read just "Oklahoma" without the "City" and have the same style letters as "Thunder" on the home jersey. These uniforms and this color scheme could actully work, if they could just come up with a better logo.
They don't need to be overly flashy, it's more important that they read well from a distance. The font on the away uniforms isn't the best, but these things change over time. Overall I think they look nice. I'm sure that Paul's fish net top and mini skirt are much less bland though.
John in Yukon checkin in! For those of you that don't know this clown.... He lives in Seattle!! He's a janitor for the blazers! He was born in a van down by the river!
the white uniform is great, but the blue not so much. I just think the word "OKLA CITY" will look better on the blue uniform instated of "OKLAHOMA CITY", and use the same size and style as the word "THUNDER" on the white uniform. Go THUNDER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The unis look fine. I was afraid they were going to have something goofy with lightning bolts shooting all over the place. Simple and a classic look is great.
Geez. Those uniforms are as boring as boring gets. I "love" the use of the entire city name on the road jerseys. It would have looked better with just OKC like Phoenix did with PHX on its jerseys.
The team better be really good, because the whole team is based on that song by AC/DC. Heavens forbid if that gets old and they have to find another song in two years.
I think you need to take a closer look. The logo is on the side of the shorts on both home and away jerseys. The road jersey Rocks! Its unlike anything else in the league. Designers did an outstanding job.
The white ones look better than the blue. What's the point of having a logo that's not used on the blue uniform? Did ownership internally concede that the amateurish logo is best left unexposed?
