Thieves target Edmond fire truck
EDMOND — Radios, flashlights and a map book, all valued between $15,000 and $20,000, were stolen from an Edmond fire truck while it was in Oklahoma City being repaired, an Edmond Fire Department official said Wednesday.
Assistant Chief Tim Wheeler said as a precaution, the four or five handheld radios have been disabled. Batteries on the stolen radios would be dead by now, he said.
