A third man accused of firing at Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers during a high-speed chase was arrested, authorities said.
Oklahoma City police officers and Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers found the man and arrested him shortly after 10 p.m. Sunday in the area of NW 82 and Western Avenue, police Lt. Taylor Dinh said.
Dinh said they think the man drove a car on Thursday that led troopers on a high-speed chase throughout the northwest part of Oklahoma City.
Someone fired about 10 shots at the pursuing troopers before the car was abandoned on Wilshire Boulevard near Rockwell Avenue. Two of the passengers — a male and a female — were arrested and the firearm was recovered Thursday night, police said.
The names of the three people have not been released.
