This year’s Sooners have plenty to prove

NORMAN — The traditional roles have been reversed. Unlike plenty of occasions in the rivalry’s past, it’s Oklahoma that will try to prevent Oklahoma State from nudging its way into a top-10 ranking and a BCS bowl bid. Just don’t tab the Sooners as spoilers; they have no plans of embracing that new, unfamiliar role.
