The Stillwater Chamber of Commerce is welcoming three new businesses.

Two oil-field service companies and a Kansas-based stone dealer will open locations south of Stillwater on U.S. 177 in the coming months, said Josh McKim, the chamber's executive director of economic development.

“Companies like Select Energy Services, Fidgets Oilfield Services and Heartstone Inc. are providing real growth in our local economy,” McKim said. “We are fortunate to have vibrant energy and commercial construction sectors.”

The three companies are expected to add about 125 total jobs with a payroll approaching $6 million.

Houston-based Select Energy Services and Fidgets Oilfield Services of Checotah plan to open their Stillwater operations in early August.

“It is exciting to have such well-respected oil field service companies choose to invest in Stillwater,” McKim said.

Select has more than 5,000 employees and $1 billion in annual revenues, serving customers in every major shale play in the United States and Canada.

Fidgets, which was started in 2009, provides environmental and cleanup services to the oil and natural gas industry in Oklahoma and Arkansas.

Heartstone, which is based in Wichita, specializes in the design of concrete pavers and also supplies natural stone for commercial, residential and government clients. It will open its Stillwater facility later this year.
