Three die in accidents Thursday in Oklahoma

A Broken Arrow collision killed a man and a woman, and one woman died in an Okmulgee County rollover accident.

Accidents on Oklahoma roads killed three people Thursday.

A collision in Broken Arrow killed two people Thursday, Broken Arrow police said. The accident occurred at 5:15 p.m. at N Elm Place and W Fargo Street. A man driving a motorcycle north on N Elm Place at a high speed went over a hill and struck the driver's side door of a car turning left from westbound Fargo Street, police said. The motorcyclist and the female driver of the car were both pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said. She was the only person in the car. The motorcyclist was wearing a helmet and the female was using a seat belt. Police have not yet identified the accident victims.

Rhoads and the driver of a sport utility vehicle were ejected in a rollover accident about 4 p.m. Thursday on Wilson Road near Cherry Road in Okmulgee County, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol said. The vehicle was traveling southbound on Wilson when it left the road and rolled one and a half times, troopers said. Rhoads was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver, Ryan Masters, 20, of Okmulgee, was taken to St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa in critical condition with head and internal injuries to his body. has disabled the comments for this article.
