Tulsa police were called to two fatal motorcycle wrecks almost simultaneously Thursday morning.

Kevin Don Jones, 44, died of serious head injuries at a local hospital after his Harley Davidson motorcycle struck a guardrail near U.S. 75 and Interstate 44 just after 2 a.m., police said.

Traffic investigators are working to determine why Jones’ bike, which was traveling northbound on U.S. 75, left the roadway, Officer Leland Ashley said Thursday morning.

As officers responded to the crash on U.S. 75, police were called to another wreck in the 9300 block of East 46th Street. A 40-year-old man and 46-year-old woman died at the scene.
