Dead are:

  • Roy Ken Holland, 45, Sweetwater.

  • Billy Don Fuller, 61, Sumner, Texas.

  • Monica Nathan, 25, Enid.

Holland died in the accident on State Highway 6, five miles west of U.S. 283, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol said. The crash occurred shortly before midnight Thursday. The patrol said Holland was traveling west when his car went left of center on a curve and collided with a pickup driven by David Sidney Parnell, 44, of Canadian, Texas.

Parnell was taken to Great Plains Regional Hospital in Elk City, then transferred to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, where he was listed in critical condition, hospital officials said.

Fuller died shortly before 10 p.m. Thursday two miles west of Tonkawa, the patrol said. He was northbound on I-35 when he apparently suffered a heart attack. His truck ran off the highway and through a fence. Fuller was dead at the scene, the patrol said.

A 25 year-old Enid woman was killed and two other people were injured Friday when the car they were riding in was struck by on-coming traffic in Garfield County, Enid Police said.

Monica Nathan was northbound about 1:40 p.m. on 54th Street in Enid and attempted to cross Garriott Road when her car was struck by an eastbound car, Sgt. Billy Varney said.

Nathan was taken to St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Enid where she later died.

The driver of the eastbound car, Gerald Gray, 26, had minor injuries but refused treatment at the scene.
