Three earthquakes shook Grant County Saturday afternoon, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

MEDFORD — Three earthquakes shook Grant County Saturday afternoon, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

The first quake, a 3.0-magnitude quake, occurred at 2:15 p.m. Saturday. It was located 11 miles south-southeast of Medford at a depth of about three miles.

Fifteen minutes later, a 2.9-magnitude quake struck eight miles south-southeast of Medford at a depth of about three miles.

The third, a 3.3-magnitude quake happened at 2:42 p.m. Saturday. It was located six miles east-northeast of Medford, about three miles deep.

No damage was reported immediately.
