Three faiths gather for feast, fellowship

Members of the Christian, Jewish and Muslim communities gathered at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church to share the foods of their faith traditions.

The interfaith event called Food and Festival of Faiths was held Oct. 14 at the downtown church, 222 NW 15.

Church leaders said the festival was designed to bring the faith communities together for the informal treat sharing. It followed a short, joint worship service.
