Three of the six people killed in a weekend car crash were Kimball High School football players who had known each other since elementary school, reports the Dallas Morning News.
One had a reputation as a joker who entertained even upperclassmen. The other two, who started high school only a week before they died, were noticed by a coach for their leadership potential.
The Kimball team met Monday to begin mourning their losses as friends and relatives gathered at the accident scene in southeast Oak Cliff throughout the day to pay their respects.
