Three juveniles walk away from Tecumseh facility
TECUMSEH — Three black male teenagers walked away from the Central Oklahoma Juvenile Center on Sunday night, Tecumseh police and a Pottawatomie County sheriff said.
The three walked away from the center about 9 p.m. The search for the three teenagers continues Monday morning, a Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s dispatcher said.
All three have gang affiliations and are considered dangerous because they have violent criminal histories. Pottawatomie County Sheriff Mike Booth said they were not thought to be armed.
Todd Beesley, public information officer for the Tecumseh Police Department, said the juveniles are wearing gray or khaki sweatpants and two are possibly wearing orange tops, while one is wearing a purple top.
They could also be wearing a gray pullover on top of the shirts.
Two of the juveniles are are 15 years old. One is 5-feet-9 inches tall and weighs 130 pounds. He has body piercings.
The second 15-year-old also is 5-feet-9 inches tall and weighs 160 pounds. He has tattoos on both arms: On the left arm, a crown with a D on it; on the right arm, the letters DLS are tattooed.
The third person is 17 years old, is 6 feet tall and weighs 155 pounds. He has tattoos on both arms: On the left arm, the words “God is Love”; on the right arm, the letters LT are tattooed.
Two are from Tulsa, and one is from the Oklahoma County area. All are dark-skinned, Beesley said.
Beesley said Tecumseh police were investigating a report that two black males possibly fitting the description were seen ducking down in the bushes near the Shawnee Expo Center.
