A fatal accident that happened on state roads Sunday and the names of two people killed while crossing an Oklahoma City highway early Monday, were reported by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol on Wednesday.

Kenneth James Watkins, 18, Oklahoma City

Oklahoma City

Watkins and Warden were struck by an eastbound pickup and died while crossing Interstate 240 at S Western Avenue about 5 a.m. Monday, the patrol said.

Warden was crossing the interstate after an argument at a nearby apartment building and was being followed by Watkins when they were hit, according to a patrol report.

The driver of the pickup, Kellie Hand, 30, of Tuttle was taken to OU Medical Center where she was treated and released.

Juanita Morris, 60,

Morris was driving west on Interstate 40 in McIntosh County about 7 p.m. Sunday when her car swerved to the right, causing it to roll 2½ times, according to a patrol report.

Morris, who was not wearing a seat belt, died at the scene after she was partially ejected from the window of her car, the patrol said. The wreck is under investigation.
