Three Oklahomans eye world crown at National Finals Steer Roping

This is the fifth in a weekly series on National Finals Rodeo qualifiers from Oklahoma.

Three Oklahoma cowboys will be seeking their first world title at next weekend’s National Finals Steer Roping in Hobbs, N.M.

Steer ropers have their own world championship because the arena in Las Vegas, Nev. , where the National Finals Rodeo is held, is not big enough for steer roping.
