Three Oklahomans honored for using CPR to save lives
Three people from Oklahoma were named ‘Heart Heroes' for performing lifesaving CPR. They were honored Friday.
Three people were honored Friday for performing CPR on people who were in danger of dying.
The Oklahoma Heart Hospital's annual Heart Hero awards were given to Brandon Hall, Cathy Meyer and Tricia Thompson.

Hall, of Tuttle, performed CPR on Norman Richards, 22, of Del City, after Richards was shot near the Bricktown Ballpark after the fifth game of the NBA playoff series between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Richards, who was not breathing and did not have a pulse when Hall began helping him, emerged from the hospital after three weeks and has made a recovery.
Cathy Meyers, of Edmond, used CPR to save her baby, Luke.
The child was born 10 weeks premature.
He spent weeks in the hospital before he was finally allowed to go home.
On Dec. 12, Meyers rushed to him when his heart monitor went off and she immediately began performing the lifesaving technique.
He had to be hospitalized for another month with pulmonary hypertension, but is home again and doing better.
Jim Williams, 61, fell unconscious when he and his wife were driving home after a morning workout.
The car almost hit some nearby joggers.
One of the joggers, Tricia Thompson, a nurse at Mercy Health Center, performed CPR on him.
He received a heart stent and was out of the hospital in 10 days.
