OHP identifies storm-related fatal wreck victims

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol identified five people killed on state roads Thursday during the winter storm and Friday in its aftermath.

Giovanni Mora, 23, Oklahoma City

Mora died Friday in Grady County when the sport utility vehicle in which he was riding slid off an icy road and rolled, troopers said.

Luis A. Navas, 23, of Lawton was driving the SUV south on the highway when it crashed about 12:25 p.m., the patrol reported. Navas and Mora were thrown from the SUV.

Mora died at the scene, troopers said. Navas was flown to an Oklahoma City hospital in critical condition. Another passenger was not hurt.

Mora and Navas were not wearing seat belts, but the uninjured passenger was, the patrol reported.
