Three people are dead in Oklahoma crashes, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports.

David Lee Cook, 44, of Shawnee

Cook died in a crash early Tuesday in Pottawatomie County.

The crash happened about 12:15 a.m. east of Shawnee on Interstate 40 near McLoud, the patrol reports.

Cook's car was parked sideways in the eastbound inside lane when a minivan traveling eastbound on I-40 hit it, the patrol reports.

The driver of the minivan, Dana Eugene Bridges, 52, of Oklahoma City, was treated for injuries and released from the hospital, the patrol reports.

Seat belts were in use in both vehicles.

Ruth Andrews, 64, Vian

Andrews died in a Sequoyah County crash.

Andrews was dead at the scene of a crash about 6:40 p.m. Monday just south of Sunrise Drive in Gore, the patrol reports.

Andrews was driving a sport utility vehicle south on State Highway 100 when she drove off the roadway. The SUV overturned and she was ejected. She was not wearing a seat belt.
