Three questions with OSU QB Brandon Weeden: ‘There was no quit in the guys'

Compiled by Berry Tramel Published: September 24, 2011

How did the defense help you guys with that second-half comeback?

Weeden: “The defense played unbelievable in the second half. They got turnovers. Anytime you win the turnover battle, you've got a chance to win. And on the road, that's huge.”

Did this victory remind you of the comeback win vs. A&M last season?

Weeden: “It felt like déjà vu. I said we've been here before, this is the exact same situation we were in last year. They played great in the first half and we just kind of stalled out. There was no quit in the guys in the locker room. Guys were really tuned in. There was no pointing fingers. It was good. That was the reason we came out hot.”

How did you play?

Weeden: “I felt like I made pretty good decisions tonight. I felt like I just took what they gave us and didn't really try to do too much and that's why we didn't turn the ball over and we were able to move forward.”
