What’s been your reaction to the slow start and the team being on pace to finish with one of the worst records in NBA history?

"Nobody’s happy with where we stand right now from a record standpoint. But we feel like in the last weeks we’ve taken steps forward. But we have to play with consistency. I think the consistency in our ability to show improvement each day in practice carries over to game situations. I like the fact that our guys have hung together and continue to work to get themselves righted. There’s an accountability for our slow start for everyone.”

Do you feel like the team is improving under Scott Brooks?

"I think we’ve improved in several areas. Scott’s done a good job. Clearly, we all know we have work to do. But we’re at the point now where we’re fighting to win the games in the fourth quarter. Being able to consistently execute from possession to possession and from quarter to quarter is our challenge right now, and we have to meet that. But we feel Scott’s got us focused in the areas that we need to show improvement.”

Why haven’t you made a move to help this team win more now?

"We’re always looking to improve the team and find ways to strengthen our roster. And we continue to do that.”
