Three-star offensive guard Natrell Curtis commits to Oklahoma

NORMAN — Oklahoma added another commitment to its 2014 recruiting class Monday night, when three-star offensive guard Natrell Curtis tweeted that he’d committed to the Sooners.

Curtis (6-foot-3, 325 pounds) is from Phoenix’s Mountain Pointe High School. He competed in the U.S. Army All-American Game last Saturday.

He is the Sooners’ 20th commitment in their 2014 recruiting class, and the third offensive lineman.

Curtis is also Oklahoma’s third commitment since Thursday’s stunning 45-31 Sugar Bowl upset of Alabama. Four-star defensive tackle Marquise Overton from Jenks committed to the Sooners on Friday for their 2015 class, and five-star running back Joe Mixon announced Oklahoma as his choice during the Army game.

Verbal commitments are non-binding. High school prospects cannot sign National Letters of Intent until Wednesday, Feb. 5.
