To Wake Forest basketball coach Dino Gaudio. The late Skip Prosser was Gaudio’s friend and mentor for 27 years before Prosser died of a heart attack on July 26, 2007, and now the Demon Deacons are unbeaten and have one of the best teams in school history. What a tremendous way to continue Prosser’s legacy.

To the Atlantic Coast Conference officiating crew which worked the BCS national title game. In no way, shape or form did officiating cost Oklahoma the game, but Florida and OU deserved better. The ACC gang chopped up a good game with their indecisiveness. They never allowed a fast-paced game to have any flow.
