Thunder Buddies Podcast: What percentage chance do the Thunder have of winning the West?

by Anthony Slater Published: October 29, 2013

Welcome to the temporary home of the newly created Thunder Buddies podcast, named, in part, from Universal Studio’s highly-acclaimed comedy ‘Ted’, but inspired by our continued hope for wall-to-wall coverage of OKC’s only professional team.

Below is our list of episodes (click the link to listen). The plan is to tape a podcast every week. Hope you enjoy:

Thunder Buddies 10/29 (<–Click there) - The NBA season is finally upon us, with the Heat-Bulls tipping it off tonight and the Thunder opening in Utah on Wednesday. Has Steven Adams won the backup center job? Who is the best 2-guard in the league? What percentage chance do the Thunder have of winning the West? We talk all that and more on this week’s episode.

Thunder Buddies 10/24 (<–Click there) - The preseason is finally over, but it left us with plenty to talk about. On this week’s show, columnist Berry Tramel joins us in studio to chat about the Thunder’s biggest disappointment over the past couple weeks, who everybody likes coming out of the West and whether Darnell will ever change his tune when it comes to Steven Adams’ potential role this season.

Thunder Buddies 10/16 - Is Kevin Durant the MVP favorite heading into the season? Is OKC’s recent three-point struggles a cause for concern? Will Darnell ever give Jamal Crawford and the Clippers the rightful praise they deserve? We explore all that in more in our second episode.

Thunder Buddies: 10/9 - In our initial show, we discuss the Thunder’s recent overseas preseason trip, what we learned and what we’ve still yet to find out. Also, we throw out some intriguing Thunder-related over/unders before both giving our most overrated team for the upcoming NBA season.
