Bob Adams

The longtime usher at the Ford Center became part of the pre-game hubbub when Thunder reserve James Harden started clowning around with him after the starting lineups.

"He's the cut-up when they're giving introductions. He's a bouncing off of people. Then ... he started kind of sparring, so I sparred with him a couple of times. Then it became sort of a Captain Marvel type of deal. I kind of shazamed him.

"No planning whatsoever. That was just a deal that was spontaneous from both of us. It was great.

"There for awhile, he was doing it about every game. I got to kind of looking for it, kind of hoping that he'd do it again.

"Everybody that saw it, they were kind of looking for it. They were like, 'Is he going to box you again tomorrow?' I'd say, 'Man, I have no idea.'

"That last game, he boxed me again, and I boxed him back. It was neat.

"I really got into it. I'm a sports addict anyway. I never was basketball much until the Hornets came, and then, I got into them. They're such nice guys.

"I gave him a big picture that I had printed up and also gave his mom one. They seemed to appreciate it."
