Thunder-Grizzlies: Game 6 predictions

FROM STAFF REPORTS Published: May 13, 2011

Darnell Mayberry, Thunder/NBA Writer:

Grizzlies 102-100. This Thunder team has grown up an awful lot in this postseason. But I have my doubts about whether its to the point of locking up a closeout win on the road in a hostile environment. I expect to see a competitive game but feel the Thunder will come up just short. Kevin Durant misses a potential game-winning buzzer-beating fadeaway from the right wing.

Berry Tramel, Sports Columnist:

Grizzlies 116-113, double overtime. Two previous games in Memphis. Four overtimes. Let's keep the ratio going.

John Rohde, Thunder/NBA writer:

Thunder 101-96. Kevin Durant erupts. Thunder goes on to Big D.

Jenni Carlson, Sports Columnist:

Thunder 104-97. I predicted before this series started that the Thunder would win in six games, and I'm sticking with that. The momentum that this team has right now will be too much for the Grizzlies to stop, even with their big-time, hometown crowd.

Mike Sherman, Sports Editor:

Thunder 101, Grizzlies 97. Remember when Zach Randolph routinely mauled OKC? He hasn't since Game 1 and when he doesn't the Grizzlies have a hard time beating the Thunder.
