KSBI-52 to air Rangers Friday night games

KSBI-52 is expanding its sports coverage by adding the Texas Rangers Friday night over-the-air broadcast package and four Kansas City Chiefs preseason games, KSBI president Vince Orza announced Thursday. The first game will be May 11 against the Los Angeles Angels.

This will be the first time that an Oklahoma City station has carried the Friday night package for the Rangers, which have reached the World Series the past two seasons.

“We're pleased to be part of the Rangers network especially given their terrific start to the 2012 season,” Orza said.

The Chiefs preseason schedule includes games against the Arizona Cardinals, Aug. 10; St. Louis Rams, Aug. 18, Seattle Seahawks, Aug. 24, and Green Bay Packers, Aug. 30. KSBI also will carry the weekly “Chiefs Insider” and “Chiefs Kingdom” programs during the season.
