Kevin Durant has found a new agent.

One month after parting ways with the only representation he's ever known, Durant landed with Rob Pelinka of California-based Landmark Sports Agency, a person with knowledge of the situation confirmed to The Oklahoman on Monday.

SportsBusiness Journal first reported the agreement, which as of Monday afternoon had yet to be signed and formally submitted to the National Basketball Player's Association but is being considered a done deal.

Pelinka is a prominent agent who also represents Thunder guard James Harden in addition to Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant, Chicago's Carlos Boozer, Philadelphia's Andre Iguodala and New Jersey's Gerald Wallace among others.

Durant, who unexpectedly fired longtime agent Aaron Goodwin last month, was not available for comment Monday.

“I really appreciate what the Goodwins did for me,” Durant said last month, “but it was time for me to move on.”

Goodwin, CEO of Seattle-based Goodwin Sports Management, helped to build Durant's brand into one of the league's most marketable in just four full NBA seasons.

In its annual report on the NBA's top-earning players, Forbes in January ranked Durant as the game's eighth-highest earner at $24.5 million, which included $9 million a year in off-court income. Among NBA players, Durant trails only Bryant, LeBron James, Dwight Howard, Dwyane Wade, Carmelo Anthony, Amar'e Stoudemire and Kevin Garnett.
