Thunder assistant coach Brian Keefe will coach the team during this week's summer league in Orlando. Keefe, who is entering his fourth season on the staff, served in the same role last season in both Orlando and the Las Vegas summer leagues.

Keefe, who played collegiately at UC Irvine and UNLV, has been instrumental in player development among other things during his tenure in Oklahoma City.

Aldrich will not play in Orlando

Because the draft-night trade with New Orleans can't become official until Thursday, No. 11 overall pick Cole Aldrich will not play in this week's games in Orlando. Aldrich technically could play in Friday's finale if the league approves the deal Thursday as expected. But the Thunder isn't likely to play him in the final game even if he becomes a part of the roster.

Hardin playing with Sixers

DeVon Hardin, the 50th overall pick in the 2008 draft, is playing for Philadelphia this week. The Thunder, however, still owns Hardin's draft rights.

But because the Thunder has a stacked summer league roster that includes returning frontcourt players Serge Ibaka, D.J. White and Byron Mullens, as well as 2010 second-round draft picks Latavious Williams and Ryan Reid, Hardin faced getting squeezed out of OKC's rotation.
