‘HOME' SWEET ‘HOME'
Once again, former New Orleans Hornets point guard Chris Paul was asked how it felt to return to OKC, which was his temporary home for his first two seasons (2005-07) because of Hurricane Katrina.
“Everybody knows how I feel about this city. Obviously you can see we've been gone for a while now. They don't cheer as much when they say your name. They could care less who I am now, though.”
The Clippers' current back-to-back-to-back road trip has essentially been homecoming week for Paul.
On Tuesday night, he played at Indiana and against former New Orleans teammate David West. On Wednesday was the return to OKC. On Thursday night, the Clippers play in New Orleans.
“It's been an interesting week for me,” Paul admitted. “It'd really suck to lose in all three of the places.”
The Thunder hosts Minnesota at 7 p.m. Friday and Miami at 7 p.m. Sunday in an ESPN game.
