ere will be at least six practices before the next preseason game on Oct. 23 in Phoenix.
"The games are very important,” Carlesimo said. "It’s not like we’re not learning things... But we’ll get a chance to regroup. These eight days may be more important to practice than the Phoenix or LA game. It will help us to get healthy and work on some things in practice.”
The preseason crowd of 16,410 validated Carlesimo’s belief the Thunder will own one of the best home-court advantages in the league.
"Living here for six weeks, sensing the enthusiasm, whether it be in the supermarket or the gas station or a restaurant, seeing people (Tuesday) night, there’s absolutely no doubt in my mind how special it’s going to be,” Carlesimo said. "This is going to be one of the best buildings in the league. Other teams will tell you that.”
