ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT
Desmond Mason’s leadership was on display immediately after Wednesday night’s 88-82 loss to Minnesota, when he pulled his younger teammates aside and warned them about the dangers of letting late leads slip away. The Thunder led by as many as nine in the fourth quarter and held a five-point edge with 6:40 left to play.

"We got to be able to finish games when we have leads in the fourth quarter,” Mason told his teammates. "A lot of the guys said that happened a ton last year. I think we can get better at closing games out.”
