If Durant maintains his current average, James will have to average 58.0 ppg the last three games to catch Durant.

“LeBron is pretty good,” Thunder coach Scott Brooks said, “but if he does that, he's got my vote for MVP.”

RUGGED ROAD

OKC could have picked easier places for its final two road games of the regular season.

On Sunday, the Thunder plays at Staples Center, where the franchise has lost eight straight against the Lakers.

On Monday, OKC plays at Power Balance Pavilion (formerly ARCO Arena) in what could be the next-to-last home game for the Sacramento Kings, who are on the verge of relocating to Anaheim, Calif., this offseason.

Brooks grew up just south of Sacramento.

“If the Kings do move, it's going to be tough on a lot of people,” Brooks said.

ROAD REWARDS

On the other hand, if the Thunder is able to beat the Lakers and Kings, it would play a huge factor in OKC potentially moving from the No. 4 seed to the No. 2.
