Thunder notebook: Kevin Durant: "I’m not an all-star.”

"Those are decisions that we all want,” Brooks said. "We have to figure out who are the best guys that are going to help us win games. It’s not necessarily the best five guys on the court that are going to help. We have to figure out what’s the best rotation for us to give us the best chance to win.”

Brooks said he will use the same starting lineup of Russell Westbrook, Desmond Mason, Durant, Jeff Green and Robert Swift tonight.

The Thunder got a rare three-day break between games heading into tonight’s game against the Knicks, taking Saturday off before an intense Sunday practice.

"It was an opportunity to go over some late-game situations and an opportunity to really drill some of our defensive schemes and get better at those,” said Mason. "When the season starts, you don’t have a lot of practice time, so when you have a stretch like this you definitely want to make sure you take advantage of it.”
