FOUL NAMES

In San Antonio, land of the original "I want some nasty" Popovich slogan, fans are coming up with nicknames for when teams deliberately foul Spurs reserve center Tiago Splitter, a 69.1-percent free-throw shooter during the regular season who is shooting just 38.5 percent from the line in this year's playoffs.

Mentioned in the San Antonio Express-News were: Hack-A-Splitter, Flago El Tiago and The Brazilian Whacks, which presumably is the early leader.
