“Yeah, I got a technical,” Brooks said, forcing a smile. “Going to hear from my mom now.”

Thunder center Kendrick Perkins got his third technical in the last four games and now has seven on the season. He previously had four in 12 games with Boston.

REFEREE TREATMENT

With 2:23 left in the game, official Monty McCutcheon whistled Durant for a questionable offensive foul and immediately drew the ire of the home crowd. McCutcheon was promptly booed for the entire timeout (a more lengthy ESPN timeout, at that).

Later, following a foul on a blocked shot by Perkins, the crowd had an unfriendly chant for official Derek Richardson.

BRIEFLY

Thunder center Byron Mullens was called up from the developmental league in Tulsa on Sunday. It was his third and final call-up permissible under NBADL rules. … On Friday night against Minnesota, Nick Collison shot 6 for 6 from the field in the first half and Serge Ibaka did the same against Portland. … Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook and Portland forward LaMarcus Aldridge donated $1,000 for each point they scored in Sunday's game to the earthquake and tsunami relief effort in Japan. Westbrook had 28 points and Aldridge had 20.
