The NBA All-Star Game featured 16 of the 20 players who are finalists for the Team USA at the 2012 Olympic Games in London.

Thunder forward Kevin Durant is considered a lock for the team and Russell Westbrook excelled off the bench for the gold medal team that competed in the 2010 FIBA World Championship.

Other players in Orlando who are Team USA finalists: LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh of Miami, the Los Angeles Lakers' Kobe Bryant, LA Clippers' Chris Paul, Chicago's Derrick Rose, Orlando's Dwight Howard, New York's Tyson Chandler and Carmelo Anthony, Minnesota's Kevin Love, Philadelphia's Andre Iguodala, New Jersey's Deron Williams, Portland's LaMarcus Aldridge and former Oklahoma standout Blake Griffin of the Los Angeles Clippers.

The four finalists not in the All-Star Game were the Clippers' Chauncey Billups (injured), Dallas' Lamar Odom, Memphis' Rudy Gay and New Orleans' Eric Gordon (injured).

“It'd mean the world to me, man,” Durant said of making Team USA. “I'm just excited to just get that opportunity to be on the finalist team and hopefully they pick me and I can help the team out as much as they want me to help. If they want me to come off the bench and be a great teammate, I'll do that. If they want me to just come in and shoot all 3s, I'll do it. Whatever they need me to do I'm ready to do and hopefully I'm there. I just can't wait to play along some of the greatest players in the world.”
