If Smith is unable to play, the Thunder will be left with Chris Wilcox, Nick Collison and training camp invitee Chris Alexander as the only healthy big men.

Center Johan Petro sustained a mild hamstring strain last week but participated in practice the past two days and could see limited action tonight.

“It’s a part of the NBA,” Smith said. “You have injuries, you have guys that go down during the course of the season, and you have to make adjustments and prepare yourself for situations like that.

But it’ll be good to have everybody out there when everybody gets healthy just to see how good we can be.”
