Coach P.J. Carlesimo said execution wasn’t crisp at Thursday’s two-hour practice, but that was expected.

"We literally haven’t practiced since last (week),” Carlesimo said. "One of the truisms in the league is it’s sometimes hard to practice the day after a day off.”

Nick Collison (ankle) and Chris Wilcox (bruised calf) were limited in practice. Jeff Green (ankle) wasn’t 100 percent but practiced. Kyle Weaver (groin) is still unable to practice. Joe Smith (surgery for a broken nose) did not practice.

Swift, Sene return
Centers Robert Swift (hand) and Mo Sene (offseason knee surgery) practiced for the first time on Thursday, but both were limited.

"They looked like guys who haven’t practiced all year,” Carlesimo said. "They’re not in condition.”

Carlesimo said it’s doubtful either will play in next week’s two preseason games, but there’s an outside chance they could play limited minutes.

Mason is clutch
Carlesimo announced practice would end when one player hit two free throws following suicide wind sprints.
