OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Much hard work lies ahead before Steven Adams, Andre Roberson and Grant Jerrett will contribute to the Oklahoma City Thunder. General manager Sam Presti is confident it will happen.

Adams, Roberson and Jerrett met the Oklahoma City media Saturday and expressed similar optimism, sprinkled with the reality that they face tough competition for playing time on one of the NBA's best teams.

The Thunder drafted Adams with the 12th pick Thursday night. Roberson went 26th to Golden State before being traded to Oklahoma City. The Thunder drafted Alex Abrines of Spain with the second pick of the second round, then bought the rights to Jerrett, the 40th pick, from Portland.
