“I am thrilled to be able to help out an organization like Special Care,” he said in a news release. “I was able to visit earlier in the year and was very impressed with the work they do. The amount of care and attention they are able to provide has an enormous impact on the kids who are part of the program.”

The Thunder Community Foundation recently hosted an auction of autographed Thunder items, and proceeds were donated to Special Care. One of the items was the jersey Collison wore Jan. 30 during the Thunder game against the Miami Heat.
