Thunder players like a good post-game pedicure

It turns out, real men do get manicures and pedicures. Unless you don't consider Thunder players James Harden, Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant real men.

If you hang out at Nails by Helen just before or after a Thunder game, there's a chance you might run into one of these men, most likely Harden, said the shop's owner, Tom Nguyen.

Harden usually times his mani-pedi visits around games, Nguyen said.

“He comes in with his buddies,” Nguyen said. Harden and his friends relax with Pearl Spa Pedicures, a special pedicure the salon offers that uses minerals to soften, heal, brighten and moisturize skin. The guys' feet tend to be on the rough side, Nguyen said, so his technicians often treat the players to a deluxe hot stone massage.

The last time Harden was in the shop was the day after the Thunder closed out the Western Conference finals against the Spurs, Nguyen said.

“I happened to host five bridal parties that day. He came in — he got a good ovation from the crowd. He just loved it,” Nguyen said.
