OKC Thunder: Season-ticket prices going up for 2013-14 season

Dan Mahoney, who is the team’s vice president of corporate and community relations, said the adjustments will be a $2-$3 increase per ticket in Loud City; a $2-$5 increase per ticket for all but courtside and Champions Club; and a $10 increase per ticket for courtside and Champions Club.

In accordance with NBA policy, 500 single-game tickets will remain available at $10 for each home game.

Mahoney also said there will be no change in playoff pricing for this postseason.

It remains to be seen where the increase will place the Thunder compared to other teams in the league next season, but OKC likely will remain somewhere near or below the league average.

According to Team Marketing Report, the Thunder has been below the NBA's average Fan Cost Index every season of its existence.

This season, the Thunder tied for 14th in average ticket prices ($47.15) and 17^th in the FCI, which includes the cost of four tickets, parking, game programs, merchandise and concessions.

In 2011, OKC ranked tied 14^th in average ticket prices ($47.15) and 14^th in FCI.

In 2010, the Thunder ranked 16^th in average ticket prices ($45.99) and 21^st in FCI.
