* Popovich: “They're a hell of a basketball team. I don't know what else to tell you. It's not like we're playing Sisters of the Poor.”

* Popovich: “I thought we spotted them 24 minutes. I don't think we competed well in the first half and they competed for 48 minutes.”

* Popovich: “Your confidence level stays high. We're one of four teams left out of 30.”

* Popovich: “Championship teams win on the road and Oklahoma City just did that. If we can't win in Oklahoma City on Wednesday, we're not a championship-caliber team.”

* TNT analyst Charles Barkley: “I thought Coach Pop made a strategic error starting Ginobili. I think he obviously got their offense out of whack.”

* Ginobili: “(The last shot) didn't look bad, but it wasn't my best shot.”

* Ginobili: “They are a great team. We respect them a lot. Even when we were up 2-0, we still knew it wasn't going to be easy.”

* Ginobili: “It's not that we have a Game 8 or 9 to recover. It's either win or go home. No one is going to feel sorry for ourselves.”

* Ginobili: “(Durant) is always a factor. Sometimes he can step back and defer to Harden or Westbrook, but he's always a factor.”

* O'Neal: “Big ups to Russell Westbrook for making the right plays ... most of the time.”

* Barkley: “(The Thunder) has some guys that are hard to guard. They have one guy that is impossible to guard.”

* Westbrook: “It's really hard to find an answer (to San Antonio runs) because you play to fast and they come back or you can play too slow.”

* Westbrook: “I'm going to keep playing aggressive. I'm going to turn over the ball. It's a learning process for me.”

* Durant: “We never thought we were supposed to wait our turn. We just know we're supposed to take everything.”

* Durant: “We don't want to get too high off this win. We knew this was important game.

* Durant: “Personally for me, my uncle is in the hospital and I wanted to win this game for him.”

* Westbrook: “I think we were in the same situation in Game 1 — up nine going into the fourth quarter. The guys came together and said ‘We're not going to let this happen again.'”

* O'Neal: “OKC has passed all of the final tests. They're not a young team anymore. They just need to understand, ‘We won this game, but we don't want to celebrate. We want to get back home and we want to close them out right away.'”

* Barkley: “Obviously the greatest power forward of all time (Tim Duncan) is struggling. Cause, hey, Father Time is undefeated. And their other guys have not stepped up.”

* Barkley: “Wednesday night is a wrap. OKC is going to the Finals.”
