Thunder reserve guard Daequan Cook played sparingly through the first four games of the Western Conference Finals. But he came off the bench to score eight points in less than four minutes of Game 5, playing a small but important role in Oklahoma City's 108-103 victory over San Antonio.

“We've been through a lot of tough games and that's prepared us for tonight's game. We know how good San Antonio is, so it's important for us to hold our composure and take it play by play. We know how important it was that they were going to make a run, but we just had to stay composed.

“There's a lot of confidence. We get to go back home and play in front of our crowd, who has been behind us through it all. It's important for us to continue to play the way we have been playing the past few games.

“We had confidence the whole game. Always as a player, when your teammates pass you the ball, it just lets you know that they have confidence in you. I always have confidence in myself. It's important every shot that I shoot that I have confidence in myself to knock in down. That's what happened.”
