Thunder to hold fundraiser for Bricktown shooting victim

The Oklahoma City Thunder will hold a fundraiser Thursday during its game against the San Antonio Spurs for Norman Richards II, 22, who was critically injured in the shooting in Bricktown following the Thunder's May 21 playoff game.

The Thunder is holding a fundraiser Thursday during its playoff game against the San Antonio Spurs for the man critically wounded in the Bricktown shooting.

Norman Richards II, 22, remains hospitalized after being shot in the back shortly after the Thunder's playoff win May 21. His family said he walked this week for the first time since the shooting and is recovering from wounds to his heart.

Fans attending Thursday's game can participate in a raffle and auction to help Richards and his family pay for medical bills and other expenses, the Thunder said in a statement. It will be conducted by the team's Thunder Cares Foundation and take place outside of Section 120 on the ground floor level of Chesapeake Energy Arena.
