Thunder to make second ABC appearance Sunday afternoon

OKC to host New York Knicks

The Thunder will make its second ABC appearance this season when it hosts the New York Knicks at noon Sunday. The first game, on Christmas Day at Madison Square Garden, also was against the Knicks. Mike Tirico, Hubie Brown and reporter Heather Cox will call the game.

In the second game at 2:30 p.m., the Los Angeles Lakers host Chicago (Mike Breen, Jeff Van Gundy and reporter Lisa Salters).

— Los Angeles Dodgers slugger Matt Kemp, a former Midwest City star, will be part of a town hall event on “Kids and Sports” at 8 p.m. Sunday on ESPN2. Former President Bill Clinton and NBA star Kobe Bryant will highlight the work of the Aspen Institute Project Play, which convenes leaders to explore potential solutions to the issue that in some U.S. communities just one in five kids play sports. Mike Greenberg is the moderator.

— The OU and OSU men's basketball teams will appear on ESPN networks Saturday night. OU hosts Baylor at 6 p.m. on ESPN2 (Dave Flemming and Jimmy Dykes) and OSU plays at Texas Tech at 8:30 p.m. on ESPNU (Anish Shroff and Tim Welsh). On Sunday, the OSU women's team plays at Baylor at 3 p.m. on ESPN2 (Joe Davis and Carolyn Peck).
