Thunder's Grant Long maturing into analyst role

rvis, who is a freshman at a community college, hopes to walk on the Eastern Michigan football team. Gavar, a senior at Romulus (Mich.) High School, has aspirations of playing Division I basketball.

After the school year, Long will be glad to get his own team back together. His wife, Nikki, two sons and younger daughters, Abagayl and Amiala, will move to Oklahoma City from Michigan.

Long is excited about the Thunder’s future as its young players develop.

"This is a great opportunity,” he said. "If you have an opportunity to do analyst work, especially on the ground floor and have an opportunity to see the team mature and grow, for me, it’s wonderful.”
