There is a chance of storms in central Oklahoma Friday, the National Weather Service reports.

Saturday should be sunny and warm with temperatures in the low 70s.

The Oklahoma City forecast is as follows:

Friday: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy with a high near 67. South, southeast wind 11 to 15 mph with gusts as high as 21 mph.

Friday night: Showers and thunderstorms likely. Mostly cloudy with a low around 53. Southeast wind 6 to 13 mph becoming north after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent.

Saturday: Partly sunny with a high near 72. North wind 11 to 15 mph with gusts as high as 21 mph.

Saturday night: Mostly clear with a low around 51. North wind 6 to 11 mph becoming light and variable after midnight.

Sunday: Mostly sunny with a high near 80. Light and variable wind becoming southwest 5 to 8 mph in the morning.

Sunday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 55.

Monday: Sunny with a high near 83.

Monday night: Mostly clear with a low around 58.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny with a high near 81.

Tuesday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 60.

Wednesday: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly sunny with a high near 71.

Wednesday night A chance of showers. Partly cloudy with a low around 44. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent.

Thursday: Sunny with a high near 64.
