Ticket fraud warning issued for Mumford & Sons festival in Guthrie
The city of Guthrie, Mumford & Sons, Jam Productions and DCF Concerts sent an alert to media outlets Thursday to help warn fans against fraudulent ticket sales for the upcoming Gentlemen of the Road Festival.
The event is Sept. 6-7 in Guthrie. The warning reads:
"We are receiving many calls about websites that are offering festival tickets at this time to unsuspecting and excited patrons. There are no tickets to this festival, no VIP packages, no 'seats' available.
"All tickets are being sold beginning tomorrow (Friday) at 11 a.m. CST through gentlemenoftheroad.com. Mumford & Sons are a very specific artist to their fans with no gimmicks, no 'specials,' no 'pre-sales' or seats or anything of this nature.
