As previously reported, music icon Cher revealed earlier this week on the “Today” show that she will kick off her 2014 “Dressed To Kill” North American tour March 22 in Phoenix, Ariz., with stops in New York, Los Angeles, Boston, Las Vegas and other major markets
The 49-city tour will include a March 29 concert at Tulsa’s BOK Center.
Tickets for the March 29 show at the BOK Center go on sale at noon Friday, Oct. 4, the venue announced today. Tickets available at www.bokcenter.com, Arby’s Box Office, all Reasor’s outlets or by calling (866) 726-5287. For additional ticket information and to sign up for tour updates, go to Cher.com. Cher’s previous tour “The Farewell Tour,” later dubbed “The Never Can Say Goodbye Tour,” was one of the most successful tours ever by a solo artist and played for a record-breaking 325 dates and seen by more than 5.5 million people.
For all online tickets purchased (presale and general public), ticketholders will receive a free copy of Cher’s new album “Closer To The Truth,” which debuted Tuesday on Warner Bros Records.
The Grammy- and Oscar-winning superstar is in New York this week celebrating the album’s release with upcoming appearances on “The Late Show with David Letterman” Tuesday and “Live! with Kelly & Michael” on Oct. 1. Cher also will be appearing as a mentor for Oklahoma country music superstar Blake Shelton’s team on NBC’s “The Voice.” The fifth season of “The Voice” premieres at 7 tonight on NBC, with the Battle Round episodes featuring Cher airing in October.
