Ties to Klan lead to death for Tulsa woman

Divorced with no children, Cynthia Charlotte Lynch of Tulsa joined the Ku Klux Klan on Oct. 17, the day after her 43rd birthday, her application shows.

Her title was to be 07 Grand Kleagle.

It was a fateful decision.

Lynch was identified Wednesday as the woman who was shot to death Sunday after traveling to Louisiana for a Ku Klux Klan initiation ritual.
